The scientific name of L-Valine is L-2-Amino-3-methylbutyric acid. This amino acid is white crystals or crystalline powder; No smell, slightly sweet taste then bitter. This product can be dissolved in water, dissolved hardly in ethanol. Specific rotation D20: +26.5° ~+29.0° .

L-Valine is one of twenty aliphatic amino acids and one of eight essential amino acids. It is widely used in amino acid formulations and multiple amino acid preparation.
