Usually a doctor measures blood pressure by reading the mercury sphygmomanometer while marking the first and last sound, which is get from a stethoscope, of heart beats conducted by brachial arteries. The method is well known as korotkoff method. Due to the difficulties of computizing the above method, other brands of electric pressure monitors are using oscillometry method which is relatively easy to computerize. Although the results of oscillometry are consistent, the reading scale got shifted compare to that of korotkoff method. Armed with our advanced sensors and micro-computer technology, we use korotkoff mothod in xj-2001, xj-2002 blood pressure monitors. We also use oscillometry method to cross verify the data. So we have achieved high level of accuracy and consistency, and the readings on our equipments are very close to what doctors get in traditional way. Xj-2001 and xj-2002 can replace traditional equipments such as sphygmomanometer and stethoscope.
