Adhesive FAQ [2008-11-04]
Q: Why the strength is different while using same Epoxy Adhesive to bond different materials?
A: Material surface treatment, rate of part A and B, uniformity of mixing glue, size of stress, thickness of glue layer, solidify time and temperature will all affect the bonding strength.
Q: Why the glue layer is sticky while using Contact Adhesive?
A: Low temperature causes slow speed of solvent volatilization, or dry time is not enough, bond too early will all cause glue layer sticky. It is recommended to increase the temperature or extend the dry time, choose the best bonding time according to temperature and humidity.
Q: Why first viscidity of Contact Adhesive is not strong?
A: Dry time not enough, glue too thick or too thin, scrape glue not evenly will all cause weak first viscidity. Should spread glue evenly and moderately, and bond when it dried to stick hand slightly....
