Recombinant Human Basic Fibroblast Growth Factor (bFGF)

Alternate names: BFGF, h-bEGF, rhbFGF, FGF-2
BFGF is a heparin binding growth factor, which stimulates the proliferation of a wide variety of cells including mesenchymal, neuroectodermal and endothelial cells. BFGF is a single, non-glycosylated polypeptide chain of 17 kDa containing 155 amino acid residues.
