The first fully-foam settee, at once simple and refined - perfect for an easy, untramelled way of life. The low seat platform, together with the undulating curves of the seat and back, invite relaxation.

At the beginning of the 70s there were many incentives to produce something fresh and new. Ducaroy calls it the 'Time of Restlessness'. Newer and newer materials were being developed; Dacron (a polyester fibre) inspired even greater levels of creativity - imagine the feeling of a musician when the discovery of a new instrument completely changes the direction of music as a whole.

In the 1970s everything was possible - so long as it was made of foam - and people began to see things in a new way: TOGO is an example of this new way of thinking, and the public lapped it up. When it was unveiled at the Paris Furniture Fair in 1973, quite a few visitors wanted to take it home with them! From that promising beginning, Ligne Roset was inspired to create a corner unit, and before long the very first corner group was born.
