Description: White or almost white crystalline powder, bitter and odorless. It is freely soluble in methanol, soluble in water, practically insoluble in n-hexane.

Pharmacological action: Tilmicosin is a macrolide antibiotic developed for veterinary used as prohibitor of mRNA. It acts by converging with 50s subunit of the ribosome of the targeted bacteria, resulting in transpeptidation and shift of mRNA to sever the formation of polypeptide chain. It can be absorbed quickly by oral administration and hypodermic injection and reach high concentration in lung organize and breast. Compared with tylosin, it is safe and economic drug with the characteristics of effect, such as perduring, low residual, safe and non-poison.

Application: It is recommended to prevent and treat the diseases caused by bacteria and Mycoplasma infection, such as CRD, pneumonia and mammitis.

Precaution:
1. Do not use for layers and horse-family animals.
2. Homogeneous mixing is essential.
3. Do not mix with feedstuff containing bentonite, or its effectiveness will be influenced.
