Excellent friction properties:
1. The friction coefficients can be kept stable from room to high temperature, which assure smoothness of braking
2. The wear of itself is small in high heat area and does not damage the brake disk
3. There is hardly any friction noise during braking
The main use of the potassium titanate whisker: :
1. As friction control agent: Used in the brake pads for automobile, the brake tile for train and clutch piece etc.
2. As reinforcing agent of plastics composites: It can reinforce the plastic composites and improve mechanical performance of plastic, which is used as various fine parts with high strength heat resistance and wear-resistance
3. As heat-resistant paint made of this material mixed with silicic resin
