Circularly Polarized Light Method
FEATURES:
For inspections of glassware with small sizes
For setting up conditions and inspections at processing molded plastic products with small sizes, and so on.
In the Circularly Polalized Light Method, the whole visual field is ignorantly seen for the black.
The part with the strain is seen for the white, when the sample is put in, and the part without the strain is seen for the dark black as well as the whole visual field.
The white discolors to blues and greens, reds, etc., when the strain amount strengthens.
The distribution pattern of the strain does not change, even if the sample is rotated, because the strain can be detected without receiving the effect of the principal stress direction of the strain.
This point is the advantage which the circularly polalized light method is excellent.
