Description: white crystalline powder ,a bitter taste.Freely soluble in water, slightly soluble in ethanol,practically insoluble in ether.

Usage: It is a vitamin for the maintenance of normal sugar metabolism and nerve conduction. It is indicated for Vitamin B1 deficiency, such as beriberi, oedema, polyneuritis, neuralgia, indigestion, anorexia, stunting and other symptoms.
