1. Description:
This tester is designed according to GB/T1540-1989 (paper and cardboard absorbability testing method, COBB method), which is used to test the absorbability of paper and cardboard, but not used to valuate the writing capability of paper and cardboard.
2. Major technical paprameters:
2.1 Inner area of metal cylinder: 100+/-0.2cm2, the related inner diameter: 112.8+/-0.2mm, height: 50mm, keep the touching part smooth between cylinder ring part and specimen.
2.2 Absorbency paper weight: 200-250gsm, absorbency speed: 75mm/10min. If the single layer paper GSM is less than 200-250gsm, users can pile many layers paper to meet this request.
2.3 Smooth metal roller: Width: 200+/-0.5mm, weight: 10+/-0.5kg.
