Product Description
Paper industry
SCHAEFER PRECARB - precipitated calcium carbonate - ensures absolute whiteness and opacity of paper, increases its volume and improves its printability.
In the paper mass, it is used for cigarette paper, thin printing paper and high-quality writing and printing papers (e. G. Watermark paper).
For special papers with functional coatings, such as carbonless auto-copying paper, thermo sensitive paper and ink-jet paper, customized SCHAEFER PRECARB pigments meet very specific requirements.
Paints, plastics, leather, etc.
SCHAEFER KALK products are indispensable as raw and process materials for the production of many industrial goods for daily needs.
Paints:
O. SCHAEFER PRECARB is used as an extender for white pigments in emulsion paints.
Plastics:
O. As functional filler, SCHAEFER PRECARB improves the optical properties (whiteness, gloss, surface finish) and the mechanical strength of:
Thermoplastic materials (e. G. PVC profiles)
Thermosets (e. G. Unsaturated polyester resin molding compounds)
Leather:
OSCHAEFER PRECAL is needed for the gentle pre-treatment of high-quality leather types for the automotive, furniture and clothing industry
