Steel cord conveyor belts are widely used in high strength, long distance and heavy load transportation of materials, and also used in high strength and short distance transportation of materials in special situations.

(1)High tensile strength: The belts are suitable for large span, long distance transportation of materials.

(2)Small elongation in using: The belts just need a short take-up stroke distance.

(3)Small diameter of drive pulley: The belt body has a layer of longitudinally arranged steel cords as its skeleton so it is resistant to flex fatigue. Therefore, drive pulley of smaller diameter can be used to make the equipment compact.

(4)High adhesion between rubber and steel wire rope: The steel wire ropes are coated with zinc on their surface and the rubber used has the property of good adhesion with steel wire ropes. Therefore, the rubber belts have a long working life.

(5Even tension of steel wire ropes: Because of advanced manufacturing process, the steel wire ropes are arranged with equal tension and run smoothly and difficult to run not in a line.

(6)Good troughability: The belt body has no transverse skeleton and it is easy to form a deep trough, so the belts can load more materials which is not easy to drop.

(7)Inspection of the belt with X-rays: X-rays can used to inspect the damages to stop accidents from happening when the skeleton steel wire ropes are on the conveyor machines.
