Maleic anhydride(MA) is inflammable and sublimating. Maleic anhydride(MA) can be freely dissolved in water to form maleic acid. Maleic anhydride(MA) is mainly used in production of unsaturated polyester resins. Maleic anhydride(MA) also is used in coating, pharmaceutical, agricultural insecticide, additives of oil products and plastics, surfactant, etc. Maleic anhydride(MA) is used production of 1.4-butanediol, etc.
