Supercritical CO2 Extraction combines extraction, separation and concentration. This process ensures more bio-availability and best product quality for the processing of natural products. In this process, active ingredients in botanicals are dissolved utilizing high-pressure supercritical fluid CO2 at a low temperature. The active ingredients which are dissolved in CO2 are separated and collected by changing the parameters of pressure and temperature in a separator vessel. The total process of extraction and separation is carried out simultaneously in a short period. SFE and its product have many advantages comparing with the traditional methods:
CO2 is non-toxic, colorless, odorless, non-inflammable and creates no environmental hazards. It is totally acceptable for the extraction and purification of natural products used in health functional foods, herbal medicine, aromatherapy & cosmetics.

Main Technical Data:
1. The extraction pressure can reach as high as 40Mpa. Extraction, separating and distillation temperature (indoor) can reach 80oC. The above mentioned data can be adjusted by the user.
2. Designed with one(1-24L) or several extraction pots (24-1000L) and separating pots integration.
3. Extraction and separating pots are of compact structure, easy to use, convenient to load and unload raw materials, with a strong anti-fatigue capability and safe in use. It can be made according to the customer's need. Large equipment are fitted with safety chain device.
4. Sample can be obtained on line during operation and the extracted fluid sample can be analyzed to determine the elements content. CO2 can be used calculatedly and its flow volume can be indicated by flow meter.
5. Temperature in different section is show by digital or meter control system, which is easy to operate and control. Pressure double safety-guard device are formed with safety valves and anti-explosion pieces. Computer control system can be provided if necessary.
