Product Description

Optoscape SFP media converter is a Fast Ethernet media converter that translates transmission signals from a twisted-pair 100BASE-TX cable to 100BASE-FX fiber optic cable. It extends network data transmission distances beyond the 100 meters limitation distances of copper wire up to 2 kilometers by using Multimode SFP or 120 kilometers by using Single Mode SFP. The SFP Media Converter is typically used to connect Fast Ethernet devices, such as 100Base-Tx Hubs, at long distance. The SFP Media Converter will connect servers or workstations located up to 120 kilometers away. It provides fiber port with SFP module, in addition to the features of security, long-distance and high capacity.
