Product Description

Multimedia active carbon filter, as the main unit in the section of water quality pretreatment, is designed with corresponded filter material to different water quality. The untreated water flows through quartz sand, anthracitic coal and some other filter materials in a low rate so as to remove the colloid, suspended matter, humus, mud, sand, clay and other impurities and make the water purified. Manganese sand is added with fluid ejector into the multimedia filter because MnO2 can act as a catalyst in favor of bivalent iron ions being oxidized and transformed into bivalent iron ions, and thus the ferro manganese is removed. The filter material in the filter device consists of refined quartz sand, anthracitic coal and manganese sand, the main material of the filter device is antiseptic steel and stainless steel used for turbidity removal in water treatment; The pretreatment is a system of reverse osmosis and ion exchange demineralization and desalination; Surface water and ground water can be supplied after mud and sand are removed.

By the filter of active carbon upon the extremely large specific surface area of active carbon and through adsorption, organics, colloid silicon, smell and color of water are removed. And meanwhile upon the strong oxidizing property of the residual chlorine through reacting with carbon, free residual chlorine is also removed to satisfy the quality requirement for the water fed into the reverse osmosis system (Residual chlorine ≤ 0.1mg/L). The filter of active carbon is the pretreatment device in the water purification process of demineralization and desalination, and different types are supplied for difference requirement. The main material of the device is antiseptic steel and stainless steel.

Applicability:
Filters of SJDG Series are designed with reasonable structure and can be conveniently used as the living water purification devices in all restaurants, hotels, army units, stations, docks, industrial and mining enterprises which have high requirement for the water quality. Such a filter can be equipped with an ultraviolet sterilizer, and used as the perfect water purification device in the industries of brewage, beverage, food, pharmacy, chemicals and so on. Moreover, it can be also used as the after-treatment device for industrial waste water.
