Mounting Location:
     This series Laser Diameter Guage can be mounted before or after the cooling trough. we suggested it's better to  mounted the Guage before the cooling trough, As it's near to the extruder port. then have better feedback control, and achieved sooner, have better performance.if for plastic product, as the plastic still not solidified yet, the standard Num need adjust a little.  when mounted behind the cooling trough, the meterials is solidified, so can have more accurate measuring value, but feedback need longer time, feedback controll performance is not so good.
      anywhere, the testing wine or cable should been dried,or the measuring accuracy will be affected by the moisture on the surface of the wire or cable. In practice. the setting value need increased a little, details depand on the degree of humidity of the tested object.
