Infrared viewing counterfeit detectors HT CD-S211 is designed for visual authenticity control of banknotes, documents, duty stamps and securities. The main verification method is infrared control of shape and location of IR-marks - images made by IR-metameric inks.

By now, there has not been revealed full imitation of such an effect on counterfeited bank notes. It is technically impossible to imitate IR-protection by a primitive way, while the use of special equipment makes counterfeiting too expensive and economically unprofitable.
