Stranded loose tube cable technology:
The fibres are positioned in a loose tube made of a high modulus plastic. Tubes are filled with a filling compound. Fibres can move inside the tube. Tubes are stranded around the strength member into a compact and circular cable core. The cable is completed with a polyethylene sheath.

Main characters of Tianda stranded loose tube cable:

High strength loose tube that is hydrolysis resistant and special tube filling compound ensure a critical protection of fibres.
The strength member is located in the center of the cable core. The loose tubes are stranded around the strength member at proper lay length. The tensile strength and temperature performance of cable can be ensured by controlling the fibre excess length and adjusting the lay length,
The spaces between loose tubes and strength member are filled with cable filling compound to prevent water ingress.
Various measures are taken to ensure the cable watertight longitudinally and axially.

Slotted core ribbon cable technology

The fibre ribbons are positioned in the helical slotted core. The cable is completed with a polyethylene sheath.

The slotted core is made of high-density polyethylene, which ensures good crush-resistance. This provides good protection to fibre ribbons and prevents fibres from damage when the cable is cut open
The helical slotted core ensures enough excess length for fibre ribbons, thus guaranteeing the tensile strength, bending and temperature performance of the cable.
The application of the water expansible waterproof tape instead of the filling compound not only ensures the cable watertight, but also increases the splicing efficiency greatly, which makes the cable installation and maintenance easier.

Spiral space unitube cable

The fibres are positioned in a spiral space loose tube made of a high modulus plastic. The tube is filled with a water-resistant filling compound. The tube is wrapped with a layer of water-blocking material and armoring material. Two parallel steel wires are placed at the two sides. The cable is completed with a polyethylene sheath.
