China ISO Standard Sand - ISO679 & EN196-1
1-Description
China ISO Standard Sand is natural, siliceous sand consisting preferably of rounded particles and has a silica content of at least 98%. The sand is thoroughly washed, dried and accurately graded. Then 15 plastic packs with a content of 1350g± 5g each are placed into one plastic bag.
2-Particle Size Distribution
Table 1 shows the particle size distribution conforming to the requirements of ISO679 and EN196-1. Sieving is continued until the amount of sand passing through each sieve is less than 0.5g/min.
3-Moisture Content
The Moisture content is less than 0.2% determined as the loss of mass of a representative sample of sand after 2 hours drying at a temperature of 105° C to 110° C and expressed as a percentage by mass of the dried sample.
4-Conformity
Production has been certified by China Building Materials Academy monthly. Annual verification testing to ISO679 and EN 196-1 is carried out by China Building Materials Academy and China National Center for Quality Supervision and Test of Cement. All results are reported to Standardization Administration of China.
