High Voltage 220kv Capacitor Voltage Transformer (CVT)

Capacitor voltage transformer (CVT) is of stack-up structure, which is combined by capacitor divider and electro-magnet unit.
Capacitor divider is series connected by one or more capacitor, the 1st connect terminal is on the top of capacitor divider with install direction can be rotary according to site requirement. On the top of capacitor divider there are bloater which was used to adjust the changing of oil volume result from the changing of temperature.
Electro-magnet unit is mainly composed by middle transformer, compensation reactor, damper device and oil tank. There are terminal box, oil level inspect window, oil inject hole, oil outlet valve and earth ground panel, the 2nd terminal is start from terminal box.
The capacitor voltage transformer has a wide operation range, which changed from -45ºC to +55ºC and the max. altitude of 5000m, max. wind speed of 150km/h, earth grade of more than 9.
Main performance properties of CVT as below: high power frequency voltage - withstand, impulse insulation level, dielectric loss factor(tgδ)of capacitor divider is less than 0.1%, the PD (partial discharge) under Um is less or equal to 5pC.
The fast saturation reactor type damping circuit is applied to have excellent performance on instant changing response and restrain ferroresonance.
The temperature factor for capacitor divider is very small, that the capacitor voltage transformer has high accuracy and good deviation stability.
