As a kind of fire retardant the product has been widely used in the production of the synthetic materials because of its low-poison feature, good consistent property with basic materials. As a kind of additives, it has been widely used in ABS, HIPS, epoxy, bakelite and unsaturated oxide resin. As a kind of reavtive fire retardant, TBBA has been used in large amount in the production of some bromine synthetic resins as an intermediate chemical. Otherwise, it can be used to produce much better fire retardant as a kind of raw materials.
