Construction gypsum is the main raw material of Gypsum block, mix with water, after pouring and shaping and drying and then make light of the building gypsum products. You also can add the lightweight aggregate, fiber reinforced materials, foam and other supporting material in the production according to the performance requirements. Sometimes you can use high-strength gypsum (α -water gypsum) instead of building gypsum.

Gypsum blocks looks like a flat rectangular shape, with the vertical and horizontal edges respectively Tenon and groove. In addition, the gypsum block can be divided into solid and hollow block two categories.

According to the international standards draft, gypsum block length should not exceed 700 mm, and block block area should meet not less than 0.25 m2, thickness should be 60 to 150 mm.
