Batteries are a part of our life. Following these simple steps will help you make the most use out of your battery products.
(1) Use the "+" and "-" poles of the battery to set up use.
(2) Do not mix different batteries together. For example, one should not mix alkaline with carbon batteries.
(3) Do not place batteries next to metallic objects e.g keys, coins and so on.
(4) When the batteries show the power is low, change all the batteries together.
(5) During long periods when the batteries are not used, take them out.
(6) Do not put dry battery in chargers.
(7) Never throw the batteries on the fire.
(8) If an electrolyte splashes on your skin, immediately rinse with fresh water and see a doctor.
(9) Do not put batteries in places infants can reach. They may swallow or touch harmful chemicals. In such cases please see a doctor immediately.
(10) Do not open up the battery.
(11) Do not make the batteries short circuit.
(12) Do not subject the battery to high temperatures or high humidity.

1.Do nott litter! Dispose batteries in proper containers
2.Do not dispose in fires. This can cause explosions and serious injuries.
3.See if a recycling center can recycle the batteries. Some centers pay for forused batteries.
4.Turn off any battery-operated appliances when not in use
Notes: Rechargeable batteries containing cadmium or lead should be recycled.

1.Do Alkaline-manganese batteries last longer than carbon batteries?
Yes, often at least twice as long. For continuous discharge applications (such as cassette players, digital cameras) use alkaline-manganese batteries. For discontinuous discharge devices (remote controls, transistor radios, flashlights) zinc carbon may be preferable.
 

2.Can alkalines be re-charged?
Although some alkalines can be recharged. charging primary batteries is uneconomical and can be a serious safety risk. It is better to purchase rechargeable batteries if one wants to re-use batteries.
 

3.What are the Primary batteries available in the market?                                                                    Primary batteries are sometimes called "throw-away" batteries because they will be discarded when they are flat, as they cannot be recharged for reuse.
