DESCRIPTION
Ganoderma lucidum Outline firmbriate, pileus reniform, semi-rounded or subrounded, 10-18cm in diameter, 1-2cm thick, . Shell hard, yellowish-brown to reddish-brown, lustrous, with circular arrised stripe and radiate wrinkle, edge thin and even, frequently incurved slightly. The inner part white to brownish. Stip cylinder, laterally grown, few leaning grown, 7-15cm long, 1-3.5cm in diameter, reddish-brown to purplish brown, luminous. Spore small and fine, yellowish-brown. Odour, slightly aromatic, taste, bitter and puckery.

Ganoderma sinensis Shell purplish-black, with lacquer-like luster. Sporphore rusty-brown. Stip 17-23cm long.
Cultivated Ganoderma Sporphore relatively sturdy, plump, 1-22cm in diameter, 1.5-4cm thick. Shell frequently coated with a large of yellowish-brown powder-like spores.

REFERENTIAL ADVICE
1. Tonifying the lung and kidney.
