Energy service companies sign the EMC with customers, agree on the energy efficiency goals, provides the customers with the services of energy-saving diagnosis, financing, modification and so on, and recoup the investment and make profits based on the energy-saving revenue-sharing model, which can significantly lower customers′ energy-saving funds and technical risk, and has become an effective energy-saving measure.

Energy Management Contract(EMC) is a commercial operation model that the energy service company(ESCO) signs an energy-saving service contract with the customer, provides the customer with a complete set of energy-saving services, including energy audits, project design, project financing, equipment procurement, construction, equipment installation and testing, personnel training, energy-saving confirmation and assurance, and to recoup the investment and make profits from customer′s energy-saving revenue after the energy-saving modification. During the period of the contract, ESCO and the customer share the energy-saving revenue. After the contract finishes, the whole energy-saving revenue and energy-saving equipments belong to the customer.
