Low-Emissivity coated glass, namely, Low-E glass is an type of mulriple coating glass, it was such named because of its extremely low emissivity to the far infrared heat. Coating sheding and color changing: The coating of off-line Low-E glass is also called "soft coating", which is because it is easy to be oxidated if not insulated in time and exposed in the air too long or because the inert gas filled was not enough or leaked due to unqualified seal, all these can result in coating sheding and color changing.

2. Focus on a low U-Value merely: It is to stop the out heat to come in to use Low-E glass in the torrid zone, so the lower the U-value, the better the energy saving. But in the frigid zone, we need also to consider taking use of the solar heat to save the heating cost. So on the application of Low-E glass, we should not only focus on the U value but also give attention to the solar heat gain coefficient.
