Tea Saponin is a glucoside refined from camellia seeds, it is a natural non-ionic surface agent(Surfactant). Tea Saponin is proved to be a good emulsification, dispersing, foaming and wetting agent, to have antiphlogistic, analgesic and antipermeation functions in medicine. It is a light yellow powder often used in the production of wool, knitwear, medicine and chemical substances.

Tea Saponin is the wetting and suspension agent in solid pesticide, it is the synergist and expanding agent in oily pesticide. It can be also used directly as a biological pesticide.

The pool cleaning agent, which is mainly made of Tea Saponin, can be used to clean pools before raising shrimps, to kill unwanted fish during the process of raising shrimps, to accelerate shrimps to cast off their skins, therefore making them grow faster and to kill parasites on crabs. Furthermore, Tea Saponin can be used to kill conches, earthworms in vegetable planting and to restrain or kill germs in animal farming. Tea Saponin is also used in building material, medicine, food, drinks, textiles, oil extraction, mining, photography, photocopying and fire extinguishers, etc.
