Flap discs are designed for use on portable grinders and sanders, and are an increasingly popular alternative to sanding discs. They may even become the preferred option to depressed centre grinding discs, especially on light gauge sheet metal or stainless steel where the finished important. These new discs are not only strong but also safe. Since no backing pad is required, you can fit them straight onto your machine.
Zirconia Aluminum flap discs with fiber glass backing have the DSA Approval. The Aluminum Oxide and Zirconia Aluminum flap discs with plastic backing have the DSA Approval.
