3-ene-1, 10-carboxylic acid 1, 4a-lactone.

Solubility: Easily dissolve in ethanol, acetone. Slightly dissolve in water (5g/L)or chloroform.

Stability: It is high stable in acidic solution or litmusless solution. Rapidly break down in alkali solution. Rapidly decomposed by heat.
Melting point: 223-225.
Shelf life: 3 years under the cool, shade and dry storage conditions.
Toxicity: Small rat can resist LD50 15000mg/kg.

Cautions:
1. Due to low solubility of the pure gibberellic acid in water, dissolve it in small amount of ethyl alcohol at first, add water to reach the concentration required.
2. Must avoid being used with alkaline substance; May be used with neutral or mild acidic.
3. The product must be stored in low temperature and dry conditions. Should be used immediately after adding water.
