Zhejiang Chemical Industry Research Institute was founded in 1950. It is the largest research & development institute in Zhejiang Province. In September, 1999, we became Zhejiang Chem-Tech Group Co., Ltd. We are the Zhejiang base of National Southern Pesticide Research Centre, is the supporting unit of national ODS replacer engineering research centre and Zhejiang fluorochemical engineering research centre. We also are the supporting unit of Zhejiang chemicals quality supervision & inspection station, it is in charge of the chemicals quality supervision & inspection in Zhejiang province. We have been confirmed to be Zhejiang hi-tech enterprise and the key hi-tech enterprise of national Torch Program.
The company covers an area of 400, 000 sqm. We have a research institute (5 institutes), an IMP. & EXP. company, 5 entities, 5 shareholding companies and 5 mutual share-holding companies. The group specializes in the research, development and manufacture of CFCs replacer, Halon replacer, fluoro-pesticide, fluoro resin, organosilicon material, inorganic flame retardant material, fine and special chemicals, powder mixed equipment etc. The ODS replacer and fluoro-pesticide are main industrial body of us.
In 2003, the Group has total fixed assets of 5.4hundred million yuan and 4.5 hundred million yuan sales income. We produce USD 40 million of exported chemicals.
