The module is a very high quality, low cost, USB bus powered hardware MPEG-1/MPEG-2/MPEG-4 encoder. It allows the user to capture full D1 quality video in MPEG-1, MPEG-2 or MPEG-4 video format. It can also actually record Video to DVD or VCD format. It is a MPEG-1/2/4 multi-format real-time hardware encoder. It can be used in the applicaion of desktop video conference, mobile DVR and some embedded systems.

The module offers three encoding formats, MPEG-1 for VCD, MPEG-2 for SVCD or DVD, and MPEG-4 for stream video. MPEG-4 is capable of creating highly compressed stream video for IP netowrk and DVR application. It is the only technology that enables stream video on internet possible. MPEG-4 is awesome new generation standard. The module is the ideal product.
