DMLC has maximum target treatment field size of 300mm while only weighting 39kg, and supports both sliding-window and step-and-shoot IMRT modes.
DMLC can be easily implemented in the clinic environment for the majority of the tumor treatment population treatments. The multiple 3mm leaf thickness at isocenter provides the abilitiy to treat small target fields using CRT or IMRT protocols. The DMLC provides less than 1% interleaf leakage. Automatic initializing at the program start up, self calibrating, remote diagnosis and maintenance functions provides the treatment facility a low operational cost and increased system reliability.
