Our Nucleo Spin columns are ideal for performing rapid preparations of plasmid or genomic DNA, and total RNA. These columns contain a modified silica membrane that adsorbs nucleic acids in the presence of chaotropic salts and releases them in the presence of low salt or water. Our low-throughput format allows you to rapidly purify nucleic acids using a tabletop centrifuge. Our high-throughput formats are adapted for use with centrifuges and vacuum manifolds to purify 5-40 µ G of DNA from each sample in a 96-well plate. |
