FUNCTION REQUIRMENT The control 7 protection panel is intended for remote ON/OFF control of 132 Kv SF6 circuit breaker, 132 Kv isolator On/Off including indication of various status of SF6 Breaker, Isolator, 132/6.6 Kv Transformer including metering arrangement with one ammeter, voltmeter and KWH/KW energy meter. The voltmeter & ammeter shall indicate current & voltage of 132 Kv system. Protective relay having various protection scheme shall be provided in this panel. The panel shall have an annunciator panel with requisite number of windows for display of fault status including guzzar for sound. Protection equipment for each plant item shall be divided into main and ack-up system. All relays shall be designed for continuous operation at the nameplate rating for 26000hours without being stopped for maintenance purposes other than routine bi-annual injection checks. All relays and protection shall comply with requirement of IEC60255.
