Jsc Borovichi Refractories Plant

The history of Borovichi Refractories Plant began in 1857, when Emmanuel Nobel, Swedish scientist and industrialist, on the basis of kaolin of Borovichi - Lyubytino deposits built the first Russian plant for manufacturing "fire resistant bricks" from the local "fire resistant" clays.

Nowadays, the Joint Stock Company Borovichi Refractories Plant is one of the biggest modern facilities with complete production cycle. Its range of products includes 34 different types of refractories comprising more than 2, 500 shapes and sizes. The main types of products are:

Alumino silicate refractories for various applications;

Refractories for continuous steel casting;

Periclase-carbon bricks;

Periclase-spinel bricks;

Low-cement castables;

Mixes on the base of high-alumina cement;

Alumino silicate mortars.

JSC "Borovichi Refractories Plant" is the first manufacture of high quality aluminosilicate proppants in Russia. Commercial-scale production of proppants has been effected since 1998. Nowadays Borovichi Refractories Plant is the leading supplier of aluminosilicate proppants, producing various types of proppants: Aluminosilicate, light, super strength, resin coated. Annual production capacity of proppants is 200 000 MT. Among our customers are such large oil companies as "TNK-BP Holding", Gazprom Neft, Surgutneftegaz, LUKOIL, Yuganskneftegaz (NK ROSNEFT), as well as leading Russian and international service companies CATKoneft, CATOBNEFT, PetroAlliance, NewCoWellServices, Halliburton, Schlumberger Well Services, BJ Services, etc.
