Alphatec Spine, Inc

Alphatec Spine is located in Carlsbad, California, USA. We are a designer and manufacturer of instrumentation and implants used in spine surgery. We are looking for an experienced manufacturing company to partner with for the production of our surgical instruments.

Potential manufacturing partners must have the ability to machine and finish stainless steel instrumentation. Common equipment required to produce these instruments would include CNC mills and screw machines. Secondary processes required may include welding, grinding/deburring, bead blast, electropolish, anodization, chromium coating, laserwelding, lasermarking and passivation.

We would prefer that the vendors be ISO Certified, but this is not mandatory.

Most of the parts are made from US Grade stainless steel 17-4 SS, 420 SS, 455 SS, 465 SS.

The instruments range in complexity from very simple one piece designs to complex, multi-component assemblies. Quantities may range from 25 pieces up to several hundred.
