FITCOR was born out of the vision of setting up a company that will introduce to the Philippine retail market clean technology vehicles and extend the direct economic benefits of owning them to the riding public. It was registered with the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) in October 2007. It positions itself strategically to take the lead in introducing clean technology products in the country and delivering the benefits of using low emission vehicles to the Filipino people, the Philippine economy and the global environment.

FITCOR will play a vanguard role in advocating for the adoption of clean technology vehicles (right photo) in the public transport sector, and the formation of a multi-sector partnership to pursue the attainment of such by broadening its coverage.

In pursuing its goals, FITCOR shall work in partnership with the government agencies concerned, consult with experts in the field, and network with other leaders of business and industry. FITCOR works with international partners in the environment, alternative energy, finance and transport industries to tap the vast potential of the clean technology market in the Philippines.
