The device can be programmed: *Trigger - sync from external image capture device (sensor/camera); *Trigger enable - only activated until "certain circunstances" are met, like movement detection, etc; *Shoot delay after trigger - compensates capture device intrinsic delay after trigger; *Light pulse duration; *Intensity pattern - programable power, I. E. level set, high power start with low power end or vice-versa. One can also configure radiation source: *Wavelength (color, infra-red, etc.) *Radiation diagram *Maximum power (typ. > 50mW @ 7m dist. ) *Maximum range (typ. 70m) Configuration is stored in the controller, and can be programmed via a terminal emulator (RS-232/USB). Each unit has thermal shutdown for self-protection and long-term functioning in harsh environments. Applications: *Nature events/wild life image capture, *Quality control by product imaging inspection, *Medical devices, *Security/Surveillance, *Day & Night vision, *Infrared illuminator, *Other systems that require high power and/or controlled light source.
