Advantages of Nomex filter bags:
1) Performs at high temperatures
Nomex Filter Bags can be used continuously at operating temperatures up to 218°C (425°F).
2) Good abrasion Resistant
The flex resistance of the Nomex filter bag at room temperature is good, about equal to that of polyester fibers; after aging at temperatures of 121°C (250°F) and above its toughness is excellent. Nomex filter bags should give more than three times the wear life of polyester filter bags at 121°C (250°F) and above.
3) Good chemical Resistant
Nomex filter bag works well in an acid environment, The dust collector system should be warmed before putting on stream and dried before being shut down to minimize the chemical attack.

6) High temperatures
The most effective use of the Nomex filter bag, the aramid filter bag is in high-temperature filtration systems where effluent temperatures are above 190 C degrees or in systems with surges over 190 degrees. In hot gas filtration systems, Nomex filter bags require less filter area, for equal gas volume and efficiencies, than fiberglass.
