The CT-TSS System 2000C is designed for the Smart Grid with the Precision Time Protocol (IEEE1588) supported. The CT-TSS2000C system includes single or dual CT-TSS2000C grandmasters due to the custom needs, with each grandmaster consisting mainly of a GPS receiver, BD receiver along with the IRIG-B inputs, and optional CT-TSS2000C Time Code Distributors delivering multiple formats of time code to a wide range of clients in a smart substation. Rubidium oscillator or OCXO is used as a highly stable time base to provide reliable holdover in case of any interruption.
