With wholly-owned offices in 17 countries around the globe and over 1,100 experienced transportation professionals, the U-Freight Group offers a full range of transportation and logistics services designed to meet the expanding needs of our customer′s changing markets. AFSA, U-Freight′s state-of-the-art systems architecture, supports all of its varied services, from air and ocean freight forwarding to logistics management and consulting, while at the same time, providing the customer with unprecedented shipment visibility.

Founded in 1968, the U-Freight Group has established itself as a premier, service-oriented transportation company with a long-standing specialization in the electronics industry. Long before the Pacific Rim became a focus of rapid economic growth, the U-Freight Group was actively expanding its offices and refining its services in the region. Today, it serves time-sensitive manufacturing and retail industries throughout Asia and Europe by providing diverse logistics applications with an overriding attention to service, reliability and cost efficiency. In a world of increasingly demanding markets and global complexity, U-Freight′s goal is simple: To make its customer′s logistics networks a competitive advantage. To achieve this goal, the U-Freight Group has focused its investment and core competencies into three distinct areas: Information technology, reliable and service-oriented freight forwarding services and logistics management and consulting.

The U-Freight Group′s investment in information technology has paved the way for the development of an information network which transcends simple freight tracking applications to a system that allows visibility throughout the entire logistics process. Designed as a flexible, customized tool for managing the overall supply chain, AFSA monitors shipments from purchase order generation to delivery to the end customer with on-line visibility, real-time status reports via Internet email and a wide variety of ad hoc reporting formats. Additional modules within the system include warehouse management and purchase order tracking functions to allow customized solutions to unique logistics requirements.

In its air and ocean forwarding services, the U-Freight Group has made a commitment to thoroughly understanding its customer′s needs and establishing long-term partnerships with both air and ocean carriers that exceed those requirements while maintaining cost competitiveness. Within the Pacific Rim, the U-Freight Group has established itself as a leader in the freight forwarding industry, to include being one of only eight foreign transportation companies fully licensed to operate a network of wholly-owned offices in mainland China with total legal and operational control.

An independent consulting and logistics management company within the U-Freight Group of companies, U-Freight Logistics, Inc. develops and manages specialized services to meet complex distribution and logistics requirements. In addition, the company provides consultative, analytical and research support to assist U-Freight customers. Services provided by U-Freight Logistics are by necessity, customer specific. These include the management of distribution services, on-site management to support international and domestic logistics and multi-modal transportation management. Consultative competencies encompass order cycle process analysis and network modeling, as well as cycle-time and costing analysis.
