I. Product Description
PET short fiber (or PP short fiber) is the main raw material for producing non-woven fabric. The product is a kind of non-woven geo-textile produced by adopting needle punched non-woven production technology. It has the function of soil conservation, reverse filtration, reinforcement, separation and protection in geotechnical engineering and it is widely applied to high road, railway, dike, tunnel, river, reservoir revetment and various water and soil-related building engineering. The product is featured by light weight, convenient use and simple construction.
II. Product Performance
The excellent reverse filtration of non-woven fabric could make the sand, stone and soil materials not suffer from loss under the action of osmotic pressure. The excellent water drainage performance could make drainage channel form inside the soil body to drain the water inside the soil body structure. The good consolidation and separation performance could improve the stability and non-deformability of soil body structure, which can prevent the mixture of sandstone of upper and lower layers, soil body and concrete. The product also has good corrosion resistance, acid and alkali resistance and oxidation resistance, and it will not suffer from corrosion and attack of insects.
III. Engineering Application
1. The product can be used for high road and railway bed engineering, homogenizing foundation base stress, preventing road bed deformation and bedding course siltation, accelerating consolidation and drainage, separating different rock-soil bedding courses and improving the stability of road bed.
2. It can be used for the revetment engineering of beach reclamation, river, lake and reservoir. It can effectively resist sea beat, water level change, prevent soil body loss, and improve the stability of revetment and dike.
3. It can be used for the comprehensive treatment of various geotechnical engineering in terms of tunnel, water pool, sports field and environmental protection, etc.
