By 1988, JAS became the #1 IATA ranked airfreight forwarder in Italy through Mr. Bruni′s efforts in creating a superior service oriented organization.
The late 1980s and 1990s saw the emergence and establishment of the network in China, USA, and South America, permitting a truly global presence and more evenly balanced trade flows over the three major trading zones of Europe, the Americas, and the Far East. In addition JAS invested in a series of physical logistics facilities in key gateway hubs to service its own operations.
Originally the focus was on providing solely air freight service. By 1985 however JAS had expanded its service portfolio to include ocean freight services to its rapidly growing customer base.
The new millennium sees the consolidation of these two first phases, utilizing the new facilities and emphasizing gateway traffic through major hubs. The company′s capabilities are being continually enhanced through increased use of technology based on multi-lingual web based electronic commerce and sophisticated computer applications.
October 2005 JAS India opens.
Within the last three years JAS has seen further expansion in South America, Northern Europe, Eastern Europe and the United States.
2008 - JAS celebrates its 30 year anniversary
