LongRun Tea Group

LongRun Tea Group is a part of LongRun Group. The major products of LongRun Tea Group are PU-erh Tea, CTC black tea, Congou Black Tea, Silver Needle, Instant Tea, Tea Extracts, Tea Foods, and series of other teas.

Together with 2 million tea-planters in Lincang city, LongRun built the complete industry chain from the enterprise to the tea planters, to the producing bases, and to the market. LongRun Tea built Fengqing LongRun Tea Factory, reconstructed Yunxian Tianlong Tea Factory and Changning Tea Factory, all in accordance with QS, the National Quality Standard System. LongRun established Guarantee Corporation to provide the tea planters with mortgage loans, in order to practice a financial innovation. By working together with Yunnan Agricultural University, LongRun also founded the World′s first PU-erh Tea College and Research Institute.

LongRun Tea Group is now producing tea products with the guidance of quality standards of medicine, so-called 86 steps of strict quality control, in order to provide to the world with series of healthful and excellent Tea. LongRun Tea Group has constructed 6 Tea bases (totaling 200, 000 acres), plus the 300, 000 acres of tea bases developed together with the Lincang government.

From the ancient time, tea has been an important part of culture in China. People consume tea not only as a kind of drink, but also as a manner of communication. Many people even judge the figure or the social status of a person by what kind of tea he or she consumes. Herein, LongRun has built more than 100 Tea Museums or Tea Culture Experience Shops in China, in order to attract the celebrities and middle-class people to experience the healthy life style and the tea culture.

In its tea business, LongRun sticks to the so-called "Health-health Ideal", which means conservation of environment and keeping our body healthy during tea production and promotion. LongRun Tea is dedicated to providing to the customers with safe, clean, and healthful tea with high quality standards. LongRun Tea conserves the traditional technologies of tea making, and innovates the deep-processing technologies to provide new products. And by launch of series of instant PU-erh tea products, LongRun Tea Group has took the lead in the wave of technological innovation, which promotes the tea worldwide as a healthful drink.

Currently, many of the LongRun tea gardens have passed such certifications as Swiss IMO Organic Tea, HACCP, ISO9001, ISO22000, ISO19004, and Good Agricultural Practice. And a couple of LongRun planting bases will get the Rainforest Alliance Certification in the year 2012.

Honors

On December 21, 2005, LongRun Tea Group was honored "the Best Designer"in the 1st Culture Industry EXPO in Western China".

In May, 2006, the Tea Art Team of LongRun PU-erh Tea College was awarded.
