ZT. HJ431 is a fused type hign manganese-oxide flux with vitreous granules of red dish brown to light yellow color, about 8-40 mesh in size. It is suitable for use with AC or DCEP. This flux is of a good welding usability.
In combination with H108A\H08MnA and H10Mn2 wires, this flux is suitable for welding of low carbon steels and some low alloy steel such as 16Mn\15MnV in producing of structures, boiler, ships, pressure vessels, etc. It cn also be sued for electroslag welding.
GUIDELINES FOR USAGE:
1. Dry the flux at 250 for 2 hours before use
2. Completely remove rust, oil and dirt from the groove surface prior to welding.
