Being the first producer and Exporter of Organic tea in China, Zhejiang Camel Transworld (Organic Food) Co. Ltd. is a group member of ZHEJIANG TEA I/E CORP., which is the largest Green Tea Supplier in the world. It is said that among every three cups of tea drunk in the world, one is poured out from Zhejiang, China.

As the pioneer in the line of Organic Foods, Zhejiang Camel Transworld established her own tea farm at Peihou and Daong Kang in Zhejiang early in 1989 with the certification by S. E. C. (now known as Skay), and began to export certified Organic Green Tea and Black Tea in 1991. With the rapid development in latest decade, The company has established total 514. 67 ha of certified Organic Farms, and all of the certified organic projects are under control with IFOAM and/or EN45011 accredited agencies, FOR EXAMPLE IMO ( The Institute for Marketecology) in accordance with IFOAM standards and EEC regulation no. 2092/91.

To meet the increasing demand for Organic Sencha in Japan and as well as in other tea consuming countries, the company established a fully-holding Subsidiary, Zhejiang Camel Wuyi Tea Manufacture Co. Ltd., well equipped with Auto-production line of the latest technology to produce Steamed green tea.

Over the latest decade′s development, Zhejiang Camel Transworld has bred various high quality environmental friendly agricultural products and now the company is specialized in processing and trading in a comprehensive variety of certified Organic products, covering tea, bamboo shoots, water chestnuts, gingko, Edible Fungi, fruits, honey, sesame, beans, wheat, noodle, medicinal herbs and soy sauce etc...Quality assurance is part of manufacturing and/or proving services standard of this company, thus strict management and super quality control system are adopted to ensure that the organic standards and quality requirements are completely met and quality control system certificate ISO9002: 1994 was passed in 1998.
