Extraction/Separator Plate

Apparently, the making of the straight orifice screen is very simple. In fact, it is not. The holes are extremely small. Normally its diameter is between 1-3mm. Exceptional hole size exceeds 3mm. There are an excessive number of holes. We often make tens thousand holes and even hundreds of thousand holes on the screen plate in one square meter.

The holes diameter and the holes space require high precision. The inner surface must be smooth and stringing free. Twenty years ago, the orifice plate was made mainly by the way of punching. The thickness of the plate was limited to equal the holes diameter or smaller and the processing of thicker plate was beyond our ability. Besides, the punching would damage the brim of the holes. This would affect the expectant life of the plate. Tengfei introduced the electro drill technique into the workmanship and solved the problems of the plate thickness and small hole size. Besides, the holes are drilled 3-5 degree angular. This is good for the pulp flowing.

The electro drill gives a result of extending the expectant life of the plate several times or even more than ten times than the way of punching. This was a great leap at that time. Along with the development of the paper making industry, people set higher demand to the quality of paper. Consequently, the demand of the screen plate is also heightened. The screen plate made by electro drill has a problem of uneven hole space, the inner surface is rough. The accuracy is not guaranteed.

The low working efficiency is obvious. After the establishment of our new company, Beijing Andao Screening Equipment Manufacturing Co. Ltd, we have put in use of the large scale numerical control high speed multi drill in making the orifice plate. The manufacturing efficiency is doubled and quality is improved. The inner surface is smooth, the hole space, hole dimension and geometrical profile are all guaranteed. All orifice plates are optional within the range of 2000 X 6000mm.

Thus the straight hole processing enters into a new stage. At present, there are various kinds of straight hole plates in use, such as the vibrating frame flat screen, single effect separator screen, hydraulic smash screen, centrifugal screen, rotary wing screen, gradient spiral screen and etc. We have experience in making them for twenty years.
