Solidsfm Aluminum-Foil Fiberglass Cloth is a heavy fabric designed to provide protection against molten metal splash and extremely high heat exposure. Due to its fiberglass fabric content, it offers dimensional stability and greater residual strength after exposure to flame. Being non-porous and reflective, it is ideal for applications requiring resistance to radiant heat or liquid spillage.
SolidSFM is suitable for flange cover insulation, reflective shields, exhaust insulation, external barriers in lagging applications, protective clothing, fire wall barriers, welding blankets, as a vapor retarded and a barrier to water and oil.
