The disc suspension toughened glass insulators could be applied on insulated and suspension wires in high voltage and ultra high voltage AC/DC transmission lines, and its electromechanical properties and safety performances have achieved the world′s advanced level. The voltage grade of transmission line ranges from 10 to 750 KV, the withstand tension ranges from 40 to 550 KN. The products cover 4 major families (standard type, antipollution type, aerodynamic type, and grounding type) and nearly 100 varieties. Comparing with the ceramic insulator and silicon rubber insulator, the toughened glass insulator has the following unique performances: 1. Large primary capacity, even distribution of serial voltage, and long shelf life; 2. Self-shattering, and facilitate testing; 3. Good self-cleaning, and aging-resistant. Therefore, the toughened glass insulators are more competitive on market. The products are in conformity with the national GB/T1001.1 standard of China, the IEC, ANSI and BS standards. The company is also well-equipped with laboratory facilities and full-time technicians capable of chemical analysis on various raw materials purchased by sampling of batches. The outsourced hardware and materials are strictly accepted according to the testing procedures. Regular sampling tests are performed on glass batches, and regular total analyses are performed on the glass samples. Sampling punching tests, geometric measurements and visual inspections are performed on semi-finished glassware. Surface cleaning, secondary visual inspection and half load tensile tests are performed on insulator finished products.
